This can include your Lounge suite, dining chairs and any other upholstered seating. As with Carpet Cleaning, the methods will differ according to the material type and the construction and we will carefully inspect this to ensure the correct method is used.
Our IICRC training has enabled us to correctly identify the many different types of upholstery and establish the most effective and safest way to clean them.
Suites in particular do not soil evenly all over. The seat cushions, backs and arms (known as the contact areas) are the areas in contact with the people who use them and as a consequence they soil the most. Providing the rest is still clean (and subject to the material type) we could if you choose just clean these areas, which would save you money, unless of course you would prefer the whole suite cleaned which in some circumstances will be advisable. Our comprehensive range of cleaning products mean we can remove heavily ground in grease often found on the backs of settees and armchairs (although we wouldn’t recommend you leave it that long if you want to maximise the life of your furnishings). Drying times vary according to the material type but most times they are dry within six to eight hours. For your peace of mind, as an option we can apply a Protective Coating as a guard against future stains.
